So, any of you watching it? It is an amazing show. Although like many comic books(aliens come down, abduct people and give them cool powers), it is still fun to see. Definitly a great watch. (Sundays at nine on tnt, its like 2 hours)
On a totally unrelated note, I love electronic music. My favorite artists right now are The Cynic Project and Amok Vibes. Both are very good, and I suggest looking into either, although, I got their music from MP3.com and it is shut down now. If you suggest other artists, then tell me, and share them with the world.

I have a certain new affinity for a rap/hip-hop band named "A.W.O.L. One". Simply good beats for rap. The best I have heard since "K.R.S. One" was in the scene. Kind of coincidental names now that I think of it..... Perhaps somehow related.
Oh yeah, by the way, fuck gangtsa rap. Fuck it in the goat ass. The most inane shit this side of relative insipidity.
Download some "AWOL One" now.
It just may very well save your life someday.

Are they Public Enemy good? Or merely Beastie Boys good? Inquiring minds want to know 'Fury.

Hi,
Old Spice, I demand you retract that unbelievable comment. Beastie Boys good is about as good as it gets. Thanks, Manga

It actually depends. I really like them both for different reasons. Public Enemy is probably closer to Awol ones type for its more intelligent lyrics. The beat is really where it is at with them though. Hence, the Hip-hop title. Rather than straight rap.
Remember, "Music is the weapon of the future"....
[edit] As far as Beastie boys are concerned, the beat is closer to thiers. We all know Beastie boys kick ass as far as beat is concerned.

I never really liked rap. I like reggae, its root, but I never went down the left path, to rap. I took the blue pill and went to ska. The only good "rap" is a reggae/rap breakdown in a ska song, such as the one in Third World Think Tank by five iron frenzy, or anything Plan 17 does.

][ have made the prediction that the Thuglife/gangsta rap lifestyle will be "played out" within three years. Unfortunately, rap will never be totally gone, but the current, inane, bragging-'bout-my-bitchez-style rap will be gone from the popular airwaves. And good riddance, ][ say. No one ][ tell this too believes me, though.

Hey, doc, want me to send you a song I helped write called "Emo Sucks (And that Hurts My Feelings)"? I think you may appreciate it, even if it is a poor recording.

Hi, I don't always mind gangsta rap, and I can listen to some songs if they have a good beat (can anyone understand what they're saying, anyways?). However, I fully agree with you on the emo punk shit, Wazz. Gather them all into the Mojave desert and nuke them from orbit, please. Thanks, Manga
