So, for those of you who haven't seen Spiderman two, it is a pretty good movie, if you know NOTHING about science, and a decent movie if you do. I enjoyed it, but there were unbearable parts to it. Parts that hold not true for the real world, where is this thing we like to call physics(these got to me especially being sort of a science geek). Three of my favorite screwups were in countdown order 3)The magnetic field that was around a homemade star. 2)The time Dr. Oct threw SPM forward on a train, and then catches him without moving. 1) The eigenvalue (something in linear algebra without dimensions) of something was .2 electronvolts. Those are only a few examples of the tragic massacre of science they did. Also noone can forget the line "You punch me, I bleed." Besides the HORRIBLE science research, and the points of bad scripting, on the whole I liked the movie. The acting was good, and the directing was great. The fight scenes however were what won me over. They were spectacular IMO. Just my 2 cents on spiderman two. Tell me what you thought of it, and what science screwups you liked best.

Hi, I agree on the totally unrealistic parts. I understand that it is fantasy and that it is a summer movie, but they could've at least tried on some things. That's why the resolution of that train fight pissed me off.
I don't understand why everyone was saying it is so great, when it's really only mediocre. It's an okay movie, a good summer flick, but nothing more. Definitely not the best of this year. Doc Oc was much better than Green Goblin, though (if they introduce Hobgoblin in the next one I probably won't see it until it's on video). Thanks, Manga

I agree. It was entertaining, but nothing that blew me away. I'd really like to see Venom in the series, but it doesn't look like they're going to introduce him anytime soon.

Hi, Me too. Back when I watched the TV show, Venom was always my favourite character. But now, it seems we may have to wait through another movie before we can see anything of Venom, if we do at all. I heard somewhere that Sam Raimi wanted to do a "Green Goblin" trilogy, but with the wild success of each film, he would be stupid not to continue with the movies. Thanks, Manga

I heard they would be continuing making movies as long as it was successful rather than stopping at a trilogy. Of course, this probably means that, as with Batman, we'll get a different actor for Spiderman after the third one..

Hi,
I think that's his plan now, but when he started writing and filming the first one, he intended to make it a trilogy. Now, I'm sure he'll continue on for many movies. Thanks, Manga

And once they're milked all the Spiderman movies for cash, they can make some awesome Peter Parker prequels.

We'll get a stupid TV show spinoff on the WB where all the characters from the films magically go to the same high school. Even Doc Oc!

I still thought it was a good movie, nothing groundbreaking, but good. Maybe I'm just too much of a comic geek at heart. Meh. However, my biggest gripe was the ending (SPOILER ALERT) . . . .. What happended to the sun at the end? Did it drown? How? Why didn't the river boil? How does a sun sink? Inquiring minds want to know!
