I didn't, but that's probably because I wasn't really awake and wasn't really thinking anything, just reading thoughtlessly.
I think the issue for me is that he hits him a good 2-3 seconds after the guy stops attempting to kiss him (following a good and rather justifiable shove by Mr Smith), which means it's a retaliatory slap rather than a 'stop kissing me' slap. I mean, as much as I totally understand why he'd want to hit him, I don't think it was really justified, and role-model, it's not nice to hit, blah blah blah.
Hmm, I'm tired, and apparently became a lot more liberal when I wasn't looking... |
