just gonna link the post, Carlo tried to be a tough man giving out GPS coords, and it gradually shifted from "lets have a fight" to "I'm gonna put a bullet in you." Just to clarify Wolfblade's lies here, Lonestarr777 twice stated he was going to shoot me before I stated that I'd perform self defense. Did he? Mind quoting it? This was what I found because I wasn't interested in reading walls of text. Also, I see you avoiding finding some info about them concentration camps and court hearings. Guess liberties and rights only matter for the right people huh? |

Just to clarify Wolfblade's lies here, Lonestarr777 twice stated he was going to shoot me before I stated that I'd perform self defense. Did he? Mind quoting it? I did point out what he overshared was stupid on the off chance someone legit wanted to hurt him and that if he bothered to backtrack my ISP and get my address he'd probably get shot by the cops if he showed up on my doorstep, but I never said I would shoot him. Meanwhile he posted his location outside of his rent-a-pig employment office probably so he'd have back up if things turned south on him, and because he'd be strapped at the time.

Are we going to pretend that his "warning" wasn't a loosely veiled threat? We've had pages of arguments in this thread with a "technically it's not, but we all know what was meant" topic.
Also....for some reason he thinks I'm a security guard or something? Odd assumption.

What about all those pesky brown citizens that were rounded up? Should they have been allowed to exercise their 2A rights to defend themselves? |

Should they have been allowed to exercise their 2A rights to defend themselves? Legally speaking you can use appropriate force to resist an illegal arrest. The catch is that it must be an illegal arrest, not a wrongful arrest. Wrongful arrests happen relatively frequently, whether for immigration reasons or other infractions, and it sucks. It's one of many reasons I support increasing funding at the border for more judges, and more hearings. The more of them we have the faster we can process people through the system and the less congested the detention centers will be.

A wrongful arrest is when an officer reasonably believes they have a legal reason to take someone into custody, but are in error because they misinterpreted the law or the facts of the moment. For example, if your twin brother commits a crime and you get arrested because you match a photograph, it's not an illegal arrest just wrongful.
Illegal arrest is when an officer blatantly ignores the law to arrest you.
Border enforcement can legally detain people that they reasonably believe are illegal immigrants, even if they are legal, if they are within 100 miles of the border of the US. This isn't just at the southern border. I believe they used this to gain extra authority during a raid on a packing plant near the Canadian border a number of years ago.
