There was literally nothing about this that surprised me.
Tucker Carlson totally seems like the kind of man who would be friends with the kind of man who has nothing better to do in life but rage on the internet and mock for years women he allegedly doesn't know except through happenstance.

There's now stories circulating in ME news outlets that Turkey made agreements with other countries to extra-judiciously abduct dissidents from foreign soil. I'd wait on getting too sure about it because ME news organizations are very much the politically run operations Fox News likes to think all news is, but lying about such a story outright would be unusual.
Who remembers that list of things Mike Flynn was accused of being involved in? Anyone? Bueller?

Not if as said, the countries secretly agree to it. Bit of a Gitmo situation. Not legal in a normal system of justice though. Real question is if Trump is going to hand over the big one to Erdogan if he gets kicked out of office.

This honestly just keeps getting more and more nightmarish. I had a zoom meeting about my job reopening and it was honestly the dumbest pie in the sky "Fingers crossed things will be fine next month!" That just feels like the theme here, stick your head in the sand and hope it's gonna be okay. None of our questions were actually answered, only vague promises of a 'guideline coarse's will be provided when we open', just promises things will be extra cleaned and money is gonna be tight so watch those budgets, and of course no word about our CEO's taking a pay cut.
Trump's 'plan' to just force open the schools is about as misguided as it gets. It's like someone whispered in the assholes ear that the reason people are out of work is cause the state funded babysitter isn't watching the kids and teaching them mythology. I'm just getting so tired of this nonsense. And here the worst thing I had to worry about for my family was a kid with a screw less deciding he wanted to be famous, and now that's like the icing on top of this shit cake.
I honestly never imagined the country to be this fucking stupid, selfish, and cruel. If World War 2 was fought today, we'd lose. There would be protests against rationing, complaints about serving violating personal freedoms, refusal to abandon the American Nazi party cause "Both sides are bad am I right?"
I mean, fucksake, Trump claims voting is a privilege and not a right, and the same people who shriek bloody murder any time someone suggest we update a 200 year old out of date document that is barely relative to today's day and age don't even bat an eye. Fuck this country is a nightmare.

My contempt for these brainless fuckstains and their supporters grows by the day. If I were in the States I'd probably be getting my ass kicked because I don't know when to shut up.

Not “police”, but unidentifiable federal agents in unmarked civilian vans. Grab you off the street, pull a hood over your head, detain you, search you, hold you in a local federal courthouse, never tell you what you’re being charged with, and if they can’t find something to drum up, throw you back onto the street some hours later with no record that it happened. |

Also, Mike Pompeo arguing that some rights (specifically "religious freedom" and "property rights") are more important than other human rights and that the US should be more selective in what rights you champion internationally.
