Are these the returns that were leaked to the times awhile back, or is this something new?
EDIT: Someone who knows more about money than me. Do this papers basically say Donald Trump is broke? It sounds like the only thing that actually keeps him afloat are loans but he doesn't seem to have the money to pay back any of his loans.

whembly. Explain how someone who is 400 million dollars in debt is suitable as President, please. That has to be the biggest red flag imaginable.

I guess the question is, is Trump actually broke or is he just a giant ass who broke every law on the book as far as taxes go?
I don't think it's shocking he paid effectively nothing. The US tax code is a giant scam and has been for ages. It's sole purpose is to transfer wealth from the poor to the powerful via subsidies and bail outs and then justify not charging the rich for that wealth transfer because 'it'll trickle down'. I don't really know enough to know how much fraud Trump has committed. There's no way he's selling his brand to companies on mounting losses. So is he lying to banks/investors, or is he lying to the IRS? Both are fraud.

Despic, just answer it in your mind please, not on the forum. Thanks. Walrus, I can answer for him. "He does all the policies I like, cutting taxes for the rich, trying to get rid of abortions, hurting immigrants, and the Democrats won't do those things as much, so nothing else matters".

As a side-note, this is why tax returns are public in Sweden. There's still the potential for shady stuff, of course, but at least we don't have the dumbest head of state in the world.

Somehow in America, these kind of shenanigans show the uneducated masses how smart these people are. Only an idiot wouldn't try and game the system duh. It really is sad how pervasive that attitude is. From the country that brought you Keeping up with the Kardashians and the Real Housewives series, it is wealth that a lot of Americans worship, and paying next to nothing in taxes is entirely justifiable in their minds. Just watch, the Trump propaganda machine will be telling people what a genius Orange Julius is for these tax bills, as if it wasn't a sleazy team of lawyers that actually arranged this travesty instead of the Donald.

That's about the right of it. On one hand, they'll complain that they paid their taxes while Trump didn't, and on the other hand they'll wish they were as wealthy as Trump and not have to pay taxes like him.

Wonder who he owes all that money to eh? It all kind of makes sense now from Trumps perspective. Win at all costs and continue to cash in on the office to keep Trumpworld afloat for 4 more years. What still doesn't make sense is the GOP voters being ok with all this just so their activist judges can take rights away from fellow citizens. What a time to be alive.

Hey despic. it's mindfuckingly stupid to equate the slogan "Defund the police" to "decreasing it". DE. FUND. Meaning, the po po ain't going have any funds. I thought defund means "Cut the budget" not "Remove ALL the budget". Same reasons why you responding to me. Because you want to annoy me until I leave the forum? Really? You want to be the only one on this forum? Why does Yemen have any bearings do Iran having a policy of hanging and throwing gays of the building? It doesn't. It does, however, have a very direct link to highlighting the hypocrisy in pretending the sanctions against Iran are in any way linked to them killing gays. Stop being an hypocrite and I won't have to bring up the US weapons killing and maiming civilians in Yemen, with you electoral approval. Not since the 80's, but still talks to his family. So you have a friend that hasn't been in Iran for 40 years, gives you the best infos about how the sanctions are affecting the country . Dude pay attention. I already mentioned it. Went there twice. They're scared...that just want to live their lives in peace. Yeah, and the sanctions are doing the very opposite of "letting them live their life in peace". Same as the travel restriction making harder for people to leave Iran, etc, etc. Now, don't get me wrong. Helping Iranians create a credible political opposition against the current regime? I would applaud it. But imposing the harshest sanctions possible without caring to do that? That's criminal. Because there are two possible outcomes: either you don't succeed at creating a regime change, and you just inflicted unneeded cruelty on the population, or you succeed at creating a regime change, but the one in power will simply be the most ruthless, and that's key to get a regime worse than the current one. Yes it's possible, look at the Saudi or ISIS... All they need to do is to drop the nuclear weapons programs. Boom. Done. That's the biggest lie you ever said, and you don't even realize it. They could drop the nuclear weapon program and it wouldn't change a thing. What they need to do is to drop the nuclear weapon program, AND ALLOW US MILITARY INSPECTORS TO GO EVERYWHERE IN ALL THEIR MILITARY BASES. Anything less than absolute, total subjugation to the US won't be enough for you. Because "the strongest inspection regime ever", as described by experts from the UN, and recognized by experts worldwide to be effective, wasn't enough for you.So...you're saying they should have nukes. It wouldn't change anything either way ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. They won't drop one. Thanks to Trump they have every incentive to get one and zero incentive not to get one, so you will be able to see for yourself that they won't drop it even when they get it. And I'll be able to say "I told you so". Remember when I told you that this move discredited the reformists among the government and empowered the conservative (conservative means "people pushing for more human right abuse" here, as usual)? And you wouldn't believe me, and I got you several article from credible, unbiased sources saying it did? And you said "Okay, you were indeed able to find sources to back you up, but I still don't believe you somehow", or something like this?
