Are you fucking kidding me, Georgia?! Please tell me this is a bad dream!
Please, Georgia. Don't give into these idiot Republicans. Don't write in Donald Trump for Senate. You'll just fuck everything up. Vote Ossoff and Warnock.

I dunno. Having Donald Trump stuck in the Senate would be pretty funny.
All the responsibility of public service, none of the glamour of the presidency, nor the legal protection. It's like his personal nightmare.
Also, when he flees to Russia to avoid prison in New York it means the Republicans are down 1 senator.

Have you seen the chatter about this? Flynn is 'the Kraken' that's gonna take down the satanic blood drinking pedophile dems and give God Emprah Trump his second term! The Venn diagram of 'average conservative' and 'conspiracy froot loop' nears a perfect circle.

Hol' up. The President has the power to pardon any federal crimes not arising from impeachment, right?
If so, I give you "how to get Republicans on board with reform of the pardoning power" 101:
"I hereby pardon anyone charged with entering the United States illegally."

While a great idea imo (seriously, fuck the US immigration system, it's so bad), it might be challenged on the fact that pardons may or may not need to be issued to each person individually. I'm not sure they can be issued to an entire group like that.

If you can pardon someone for hypothetical crimes (a la Nixon) then surely you can pardon someone hypothetical for concrete crimes? I realize it'd probably have to go through 8150916291259712561928561675 court

I'm talking more about pardoning an entire group with a single pardon, and technically, Nixon's pardon may or may not be legal, it just has never been challenged in court. Johnson, Munroe, and Grant all did. So there is precedent for it. Johnson and Grant both pardoned large numbers of Confederates, and Munroe pardoned whole pirate crews.

Well, then that's the only thing that would have stopped it potentially imo.

Honestly, just get someone from the secret service to kill your political opponents and then pardon him at this point. The whole thing is ridiculous.

They could still be held liable in the state you did it. The pardon is only for federal crimes.
