I'm highly skeptical the Democrats can win either race in Georgia, but I'd be excited to see Trump continue doing what he's currently doing. Don't vote for the GOP because they didn't steal the election for me? Please. Yes. More of that. Let the right eat itself. I'd be curious to see the impact of this if Trump simply keeps doing it.

Considering that Senate votes are statewide, it's actually possible.

I just don't think it's going to happen.

I just don't think it's going to happen. Well, Trump has decided to get involved. Hang on to your hats, I suspect that he may cause problems for the Georgia GOP since he's making life difficult for their Governor and elected officials.

www.theatlantic.com/politics/archive/2020/12/trump-will-reign-atop-gop-until-2024/617300/In the article Lindsey Graham says: "Right now, assuming for the moment that Biden wins, it’s Trump’s nomination if he wants it,” Graham told me. (Like many other Republicans, Graham has not yet acknowledged that Biden has won the election.) “He has a lot of sway over the Republican Party. If he objects to anything Biden [does], it would be hard to get Republicans on board. If he blessed some kind of deal, it would be easier to get something done. In many ways, he’ll be a shadow president." A shadow president? Even after the election loss, and getting laughed out of court, the republicans would rather see an end to democracy in America than an end to the Trump presidency. This country is fucked and the people supporting these clowns honestly have nothing but my contempt. Sycophants to a lying, narcissistic, amoral, trust fund baby aren't what I had on my bingo card of things that will bring about the end of democracy in America but here we go.

Its either bowing down to Trump or standing on the roadside with a sign that reads 'Will give handjobs to get elected', an easy choice for most Republicans.

Ghouliani is the latest victim of the Corona 'hoax', although it seems more Republicans now no longer think its a hoax at least. Now they think the Democrats purposefully infected Ghouliani because his efforts to fight the 'fraud' are getting too close to uncovering the 'truth' of a Trump victory.
You win some, you lose some...

One could argue McConnell has already been a sort of "shadow president" for some time now.

There's no point shooting for unity because they're not interested and the people who vote for them and support this behaviour aren't either

There can only be "unity" if both sides are willing to work together, and the right not only doesn't want to but has opposed it for at least 20 years now.

What jurisdiction does one state have over another state's laws? And I really hope Paxton will be found guilty on all of the crimes he's being investigated for.
