It's okay, I've been reassured that, despite what Bretty K might have said in the past, all his SC rulings will be strictly an originalist interpretation of the Constitution, based on what the authors meant at the time of writing. Isn't that a relief? Yes. Soon blacks will be back to being 2/3rds of a person for representation but not a person at all for any other purpose, as the founders intended because the intent of men who lived in 1780 is the only thing that should be considered. 13th Amendment still exists you guys... originalism doesn't undo that.

Normally I'd say this would be struck down pretty quick, but as SCOTUS isn't impartial anymore... It's okay, I've been reassured that, despite what Bretty K might have said in the past, all his SC rulings will be strictly an originalist interpretation of the Constitution, based on what the authors meant at the time of writing. Isn't that a relief? Ah yes, cannot wait for only white, land owning men to be the only people who can vote!

Honestly, I look at that picture and my first thought is "what is he doing doing to that bird?"

Okay... define "gun nut" so that we can discuss on the same wave length. I kinda did here: otzone.proboards.com/post/128851/threadOkCupid has a pretty interesting question in that regard, for instance. "Which one would you rather lose : a)The right to bear arms b) the right to vote."

Still not clear. What you think is "reasonable" or "unreasonable" is subjective that others may have a different subjective views. Newsflash: -I only have a shotgun for home defense/traps-skeets -I was on the market to purchase handguns, but I want to be able to invest in serious time in training, which won't happen for me till next summer. So... what specific questions do you have?

So, recently border officials used tear gas and pepper spray on protesters near the border. While I don't agree with those who attempted to cross illegally, using tear gas on the ENTIRE group of protesters is a pretty extreme response.
But that seems typical of this admin. Instead of increasing processing capacity, why not just use violence?

It's super low bar, but I'm actually impressed they didn't just straight up murder them. Remember, to very stable geniuses, rocks = bullets!

That was basically the deal for the first ~250 years of America's existence. What's changed now? Is it "full up"?

That's too simplistic feeder. The US has been regulating our borders and who can come in since the early 20th century. Why should we simply just wave these people into our country?

Look at how Israel handles the border with Palestine, and you will see what our current administration desires us to have.
