Maybe what we always used to do? Arrest them, process them, examine their claim for asylum, and not tear gas the ones who aren't illegally crossing but peacefully protesting? And, for the record that's way different from what happened this time. This time they did it to peaceful protesters who were NOT crossing. (Also, nice whataboutism, keep deflecting) Why do you keep avoiding that? Because it shuts down your stupidity? The crowd was ignoring orders, attempting to overwhelm the United States border. I wouldn't call that "peaceful". |

See what I mean? You're framing that incident that it was purposeful because of your hatred towards Israel Maybe it is my dislike for hypocrites that makes it hard for me to understand how chaining a child across the front of a humvee can be done 'by accident'. |

Okay... those are bad. So...dusa brings this up...thinking the worst of the worst and yet he claims I'm cancerous? Fuck you dusa.  So now, I don't want our border control folks to use human shields, make children walk a bomb infested area or all of that. I want immigrants to come here legally (that include legally claim asylum). What I don't want, is having perverse situations where illegal immigrants believe they can cross the border illegally. However, in this recent case here, peaceful asylum-seekers do not bum rush the border, nor do they pelt immigration control officials with rocks and other items (and even wave their home country's flag). These tells me they're not interested in asylum and are only interested in crossing any way the can. |

I mean, it literally is how you claim. You enter the country, then claim asylum. The US Army is blocking them from entering so they can't legally claim asylum. But if some people throw garbage onto the field, it make sense to cancel the game and eject every fan, right? Because the actions of one part of a crowd define the actions of the entire crowd? |

You enter the country, then claim asylum. The US Army is blocking them from entering so they can't legally claim asylum. They were told by officials to get in line where they could claim it at the port of entry. A crowd trying to bum rush the border is not a well functioning process. |
