I think it means they'll stock it where it sells and where it's safe, and it'll allow them to pull stuff from shelves when the threats come in.

...The failure wasn't really by Target, it was the lack of criminal charges against the assholes. True, another unfortunate consequence of having the people that are in charge of those decisions relying on the very same assholes for votes.

Why are you posting news from a century ago? Isn't this supposed to be about modern events?

It sounds like the court case has just concluded, the news article is dated 12th June 2024.
It's pretty shocking it's taken 20 years to get an outcome though, god knows how long it'll take before anyone sees any money.

I'm absolutely shocked that a company whose entire reason for existing is being cheaper than the competition is losing sales after no longer being cheaper.

How will they ever recover from that 1% drop, their 8 billion in 2023 profit will be decimated this year.

How will they ever recover from that 1% drop, their 8 billion in 2023 profit will be decimated this year. Remember that under capitalism failing to grow at a faster rate than the previous quarter is utter failure. An actual loss, however small, is such unimaginable treason against the shareholders I'm surprised heads aren't literally rolling for this.

I recall when investors forced McDonald's to spin-off and divest themselves of a little idea called Chipotle' because of a pennies set-back in the annual dividend.

Twitter is suing some large companies. Because they won’t advertise on it. Surely that’s like Tesco wanting to sue people who choose to give their business to Sainsbury’s? forgot the link. www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cn47798gxx4o
