The funny thing is that if the Bruen standard was actually applied here the ban would be unconstitutional as there is no pre-1800 precedent for that kind of regulation, it would have been considered obvious that parents and doctors decide how to treat kids not the state. But you're right that Thomas and Alito have been well paid to rubber stamp conservative doctrine and will come up with some nonsense like pretending trans people never existed back then. |
