I'm currently playing Skies of Arcadia. Yeah, I like to play old games, so sue me. It's awesome. One thing I find interesting is how they apparently removed all smoking and replaced the alcohol with fruit juice for the English language releases, presumably because the brightly-coloured cartoony look means 'kids game' to Westerners, for some reason.
Interestingly, though, they still include a scene where you can spy on one of your female party members getting changed (complete with music that's one step away from 'bow-chicka-bow-wow'), a fair amount of fanservice by implication (eg the two main female characters sharing a bed) and attempted rape.
Oh, and Gilder is a total PIMP: his ship is the ultimate bachelor pad (pictures of buxom women in stockings and suspenders, plenty of interestingly shaped bottles that look like they probably contain spirits, and even a dart board), not to mention it looks totally bad-ass from the outside, and his parrot, named WILLY, has an unusually large beak and knows phrases such as 'Oh baby! Oh baby!"
Yeah, I'm really enjoying this game. Only about half-way through, maybe, but I am determined to finish it this time!

EDIT: Reading the comments is just getting me wound up. Lots of people going on about how it's a personal decision on whether or not you do it, which I entirely agree with, but completely failing to recognise that you need information like this in order to make an informed personal decision on the matter. Not to mention that the prevailing social pressure says that you should therefore the other side of the argument needs to be more vocal so that people can feel they actually do have a choice, that there is another option, even if they decide it's not for them.
