Why no kids, Malf?
I think teaching allows you to explore many different kinds of 'lifetimes' as you're always mastering some other skill/piece of information in order to teach it.
I would love to teach at the university level, or consult for congregations, at some point.

I've been spending more than one lifetime learning how to be happy. Oddly enough, I was depressed for 7 years; that's a lost lifetime right there (this was a severe depression). Learning to be truly happy is a noble goal.
You should follow your passions, Malfred. Be good at what interests you. You're a very interesting person; you have a great deal you can choose from.
Spend your lifetimes being happy.

I was a soldier, currently a pmc and I'm honing my skills as an artist (currently building contacts in the video game industry for concept art work) and working on my writing for my long term goals. Like Iorek I've had periods of depression (not seven years though!).
I'd have to echo what others have said Malfred. You are in the same position as me without children so just do what you want. Whatever you feel is worth effort usually is.

They seem to follow the lines of your miniatures from before (i.e. cool looking soldiers with lots of webbing for gear). I didn't really mean to ask about myself. I was just thinking out loud. I am spending my current lifetime trying to get to grips with my chosen profession. It seems to take up all my time, although the depression doesn't help. Maybe when life is less stressful I'll have time to think about what to do with my other lifetimes.
I realise that sounds pretty negative, but that's just a reflection of where I am personally at the moment. I happen to think it's a fantastic, inspirational concept, and will be sharing it with others.
