Thanks guys. It was indeed a fun day.
Br***et drove up and spent the night and early day before I had to work. We went horseback riding in the indoor arena for a couple hours. Did some sledding. Played with the animals, kicked back in the hottub. Lazy and relaxing with an old "new" friend...
Later that night some work friends from the barns and retail came out for some beers and a nasty game of alcoholic "Survive!" boardgame. They all stayed the night and still couldn't fill the 12 bedrooms available at the farm. Best birthday in years. Nobody won the pot to guess my real age though.
Beth came by for X-mas day and we had an orphan holiday. (By the by, Beth isn't my real sis. But may as well be.)
Laughs and smiles were the only thing meted out that day.
