See it in IMAX 3D; it's worth it JUST for the better sound.
Stay for the first part of the credits; there IS a single bonus scene, and for real del Toro fans, you'll appreciate it.
I hope they don't release toys, because my ass will be BROKE.

Better yet though is using the big action figures, making some buildings or whatever, a few tiny tanks or whatever from numerous various sources, using ganesha games Mighty Monsters for good generic rules that dont bog down the fun... and you have awesomeness.
Now you may go broke.

Finished shipping my Monsterpocalypse stuff today.
But not before playing a couple games of GUARD versus Planet Eaters.
I uncancelled the cancelling of the apocalypse.

Tried the Pacific Rim demo. It's a very basic beat'em up style fighting game. Left punch, Right punch, Strong punch, run, dodge, block, power attack. There's a few other things(Gypsy has its plasma cannon with a Megaman-esque charge as well as the ability to pop out the swords), but that's about it. The full version has customization for Kaiju and Jeagers, but I don't feel like paying for it when Godzilla on the Wii is much more fun with tons more monsters I actually care about.

Saw it. It's fucking awesome. So is air conditioning.
Never drinking that much coke again; had to skip the Quiet Drama Scene to take a leak, and I was buzzing by the time the previews and ads finished.
