On Amazon. It will be military scifi, starting out kind of ok then getting progressively more Grimdark throughout. I have drawn the front cover for it and here is a WIP of the layout. There are some minor details to sort out, the character need another tattoo and there will be a faded flag stencilled onto the background, but it is otherwise complete. What do you guys think? 1. Good for you! I have a couple of friends who self-published and, while they can't retire to their own island, earn a little extra cash every year, meet interesting people, go to some 'cons, and have written 100% more book than most people!
2. Your art is always very, VERY good. I'm sorry you don't explore comics or graphic novels etc.
3. The only concern I have is that some lawyer is going to look at that belt buckle (when you show up on the Kindle Top 100) and a) slap you with a C&D and b) your book mysteriously disappears from everyone's e-reader. You might want to change it as a result. It's too bad but I could see mucho trouble down the pike...

Im willing to take that risk. Thanks about the art, I would love to give up soldiering and concentrate on creative pursuits but I have no idea how to break into the industry.

Minor update, added his identification tattoo and vague impression of the federation flag, the all powerful government that manipulates the main character throughout. He is an absolute bastard though so he deserves it. Darkchild Attachments:

Facial scar = real life mimics art? Or the other way around?
Smartcode as tattoo is a neat idea. Is it an official government tag or something personal?

He was raised in a government funded facility for war orphans and the smart codes are like dog tags. They are tagged on one arm, one leg, one pec, one butt cheek in case the corpse is too mutilated to ID.
The other tattoos he did himself.

I have had my novella proof read, and feed back from my beta readers is overwhelmingly positive (which I don't really trust as they all know me) im going to give it one more edit I think then release it for public consumption.
Even if it sucks it will be good to get something out there.

My iPad wont let me open the proper reply box, so just search for Contractor part 1 on the kindle store.
A link wouldn't work anyway, as the uk store won't let you pesky Americans buy it.
Hope you like it, it is quite violent.
