No one knows. He was an idiot to fire on a crowed that the police were already present in. All that is known is that he put up a rant on Instagram about halfbreeds, some white power book he read, and then went on a shooting spree.
Police dropped him within 5 min, but he still killed several people with a weapon illegal in California.
Trump is tweeting that Iran has never won a war. Someone let the Assyrian Empire know that.

I hadn't heard much about the shooting yet. I knew it was in Gilroy, but not that the shooter was a white supremacist. My wife and I assumed it had to be a local matter, like a crazy laid off guy or incel, since Gilroy isn't a very significant town other than being a great rest stop when driving from LA to San Francisco. Kind of surprised a white supremacist would go for the Garlic Festival rather than the other thing Gilroy is famous for: Casa De Fruta.

Well so far they don’t know for sure the motivation behind the actual attack itself. The white supremacist thing is from social media post/posts about race and half breeds and anti women and power thru strength and that sort of stuff. Also that the garlic festival sold over priced shit.

I don't know about overpriced. The Garlic Festival is worth going to once, but price isn't in the top three reasons why it's not worth going to twice.
Hmmm. I haven't been there in ten years or so, so maybe since then it got all commercial like Comicon or something.
