Walrus, you can keep trying to take the high ground, and I understand the desire to do so, but that doesn't work. It's a failing of the dems for decades now, especially when (for example) the turtle is an actual piece of shit that's caused more harm to America than almost any other single person. Taking the high road only works if the other side feels shame, and I think it's obvious that they don't. Republicans do not give a flying fuck because they have a block of ~36% of America that will support them no matter what. Democrats claim the "high ground" here? Democrats has their own block of ~40% that would support them no matter what as well. Makes you pine for the days of GWB eh? Democrats and the media was downright nasty towards him, and he literally turned his cheek everytime.

I don't think that dehumanizing language is the key to victory for the Dems. True. But, tell me, is defending Al Shapton from Trump a key? What about defending the "Squad"? Is that a key? Trump has ya'll dancing to his tunes. Don't you all recognize that? He's using his 2016 GOP primary cookbook here on the Democrat primary. He's using up a lot of oxygen: ricochet.com/657505/dems-media-keep-handing-the-narrative-to-trump/The first Democrat president who refuses to engage Trumps assholery and simply respond "Bless your heart" then proceeds talking about the issues that democratic voters want.... Will win a lot new voters. Buttigieg missed his golden opportunity when Trump nicknamed him "Alfred E. Nueman"... his response should've been " What?? Me worry??"

Weird how stealing an election and lying to the people in order to start an unwinnable war would paint a target on you. So weird!

Weird how stealing an election You're going to have to explain that one. So weird that he didn't lie. Oh... jeeze... you just made my case.

The ICC literally can't charge anyone of the Bush admin due to protections the US build into the ICC treaty which the Bush admin later pulled out of entirely, while those protections still stand. Of course even if it could, it wouldn't because that's sadly not how the world works.
Basically the US (or others) could operate a genocide factory in Iraq and nobody could legally hold them accountable due to their Security Council veto.

I'm claiming he didn't lie. Both the US and UK's intelligence agencies fucked up here. The whole "Bush Lied" smear purposely ignores that. That doesn't mean Bush, et. el. are blameless... but the "he lied" canard was part of the daily beatings from his critics that he took while TAKING THE HIGH ROAD. (to circle back to the main point). Ergo:

Bush might not have thought he was lying, but even at the time there was no general agreement amongst the agencies involved. Meanwhile a certain group in the admin cherry picked what they wanted and ran with it. The only question being: was Bush involved in the cherry picking or was het fed the cherries?

I don't think that dehumanizing language is the key to victory for the Dems. It might energize the base and stop the party from being terrified to do anything. For example, they took WAY too long to hold Barr and Ross in contempt because they were worried that republicans would get upset. Walrus, you can keep trying to take the high ground, and I understand the desire to do so, but that doesn't work. Democrats and the media was downright nasty towards him, and he literally turned his cheek everytime. Democrats aren't aren't packing the court, aren't shooting down bills solely based on who proposes/writes them, and aren't divisive fucks like the republicans are. Hey, remember the time republicans made up the whole birtherism thing? Or the Tea party? Hey, remember when republicans stole several election in 2018? Or how they committed actual voter fraud? But yeah, democrats are the divisive ones. Democrats have been dragging down the discourse. Fox news and various alt right/white nationalist garbage news sites spreading lies, and republicans rigging elections have nothing to do with it! It's all the democrats fault right? Shut the fuck up you cancerous piece of shit.

For example, they took WAY too long to hold Barr and Ross in contempt because they were worried that republicans would get upset. Not really. It's all theater. Eric Holder made sure of it... in which, the DOJ even cited Holder's contempt over the "Fast and Furious" scandal as precedent when they responded that they weren't going to prosecute Barr and Ross. So, citing Administration Officials for contempt is a dead-ender. Best thing Congress can do is impeach Barr/Ross. Why bring this up? They're literally playing by the rules in place to fill these positions. If you're mad that they're having an easier time, place your blame on Harry Reid blowing up traditions during his tenure. Elections as consequences. -ObamaAnd. You act like this is a new thing. Newt Gingrich's Speaker of the House bills often went into that graveyard due to the Democrat controlled Senate. Remember when it was Hillary people who started this during the primary? Tea Party? A movement in response to Democrats/Obama's policies is bad because they're the wrong "team" amirite? Oh. You're a Stacey Abram's truther aren't ya? Makes sense... I'm not absolving the right and there's a large segment of "Ownz the Libz at ALL cost!" insanity. But, the Democrats and the left (from grassroots to elected officials) have lost their ever loving minds that contributes to the divisiveness in politics. So take that "cancerous piece of shit" and shove it where it don't shine. <--- that's me feeding the never ending cycle of decisiveness because, in this case, fuck you.

This again? Still waiting for The Hague to charge him... They can't because the US confuses physical violence for justice. Technically they can't because we don't recognize the Hague's jurisdiction.

I'd just like to chime in and kindly ask that the "sub-human" shit go to hell. Such comments have no place anywhere and degrade the one using them as much as the target. Plus, y'know, the whole history of the term "Untermenschen"... Edit: And yeah, the lack of understanding just how bad the Boer war camps were is rather telling, as is the idea that being descended from survivors of Nazi camps gives you some sort of unique authority on the subject. I hear you, but disagree with you.
