Well, it could be worse. He could have been given a Nobel Peace Prize simply for having been elected.

Is it fun living in a delusional world Carlo? Is it just easier than ignoring facts or accomplishments? Do you not understand the difference between being awarded something by a group of people besides yourself, versus awarding yourself military honors while being a draft dodger? Is this a case of "Black Man Bad"?

Strangely enough getting elected is not given as the reason by the Nobel Committee. www.nobelprize.org/prizes/peace/2009/press-release/Also strangely enough all everyone does is complain about Obama getting it, not about actual questionable figures having received it in the past. Obama is practically a saint compared to some earlier winners. So who knows, maybe Trump still has a shot? He desperately wants one. The peace prize means so little, yet it still annoys Republicans 10 years later, so at least there's that.

you're missing a word there whem. It's also interesting to see how you value guns more than healthcare. Only in america are guns more important than the well being of the people. #AmericanExceptionalism How we can provide for our self-defense is more important. Exercising our 2nd amendment right still means we have to purchase said firearms. We're not getting anything "free". Access to medicine will never be "free", as either the individual or society pays for it. The manufacturers aren't doing this for free. #AmericanExceptionalismIndeed Nobody is buying an AR with 100 round magazines for self defense. Everyone I know with one, and living in a rural part of a rust belt state that is quite a few, bought it for "fun". Shot guns are for self defense. AR's are for killing people and apparently "fun". And I love that you provided a definition for "well-regulated" but conveniently left out the "militia" part. Wonder why? How many 2nd amendment nuts are part of a citizen militia again?

THAT is a pretty recent idea. You know, after some gun nuts with vigilante fantasies decided that "shall not be infringed" was REALLY important, while "a well regulated militia" was not. "a well regulated militia" doesn't mean things like the National Guard homie (which didn't exist statuatorily till 1824-ish). It means:“The phrase “well-regulated” was in common use long before 1789, and remained so for a century thereafter. It referred to the property of something being in proper working order. Something that was well-regulated was calibrated correctly, functioning as expected. Establishing government oversight of the people’s arms was not only not the intent in using the phrase in the 2nd amendment, it was precisely to render the government powerless to do so that the founders wrote it.” It was understood as an individual right in the beginning. If it were understood as a collective right in the beginning, why did no one understand it that way for 200 years?

Donald Trump has called himself the chosen one. Totally fine, doesn't sound like a massive mental illness warning sign at all...

Even early legal documents and textbooks to teach law understood it as an individual right.

*Only for 75% of their term My point wasn't about that, but about how much undeniably evil shit the spineless fools that still support the GOP will tolerate in order to get said judges. 1) heh. Blame Harry Reid bucko. yes, its others fault when you do wrong, this line of "logic" is just trying to excuse being shitty. also mixing up someone bringing up a hypothetical versus action.

Reid wanted to push for more district and appellate judges under Obama administration by implementing the "Reid Rule". Precedent set. Cocaine Mitch warned democrat in doing so would have ramifications. Literally, a "I told you so" moment.

That's incorrect. Even early legal documents and textbooks to teach law understood it as an individual right. Why did it take until DC v. Heller for that to become apparent, then? Because that's how historical revisionism works. Once it is declared in the now that it has always been the way, it has always been that way, despite mountains of written evidence to the contrary.
