Incredible blackened thrash from the grim frostbitten land of jotuns. Just look at that cover art! Straight from a 2nd Ed. campaign book.

Brand spanking new black metal from Norway. Fun fact: 1349 is the year the Black Death reached Norway

Hmmm, Canadian hip hop with death-doom vocals and spooky keys. I'll allow it.

It's not Canadian, it's French. Very French. French horrorcore, in other words, those guys were inspired by ICP ^^'. Those guys even made a song called "Dans La Sous-France", that's how French they are! And how bad their puns! If you understand French, just listen to those lyrics LOL : www.dailymotion.com/video/x7gp5xReally underground band! Very hard to find! TRVE KVLT! I got some of their album on my laptop, you won't be able to find them easily, including the linked above track, but with way better sound quality . Well it's only ever been a hobby for those two guys afaict, never professional or really serious. Think I should upload those?

Yeah, it was a fan saying “Shout out from Quebec”, and the artist answering “Shout out to all our Quebecois friends!”. You are really missing out on the lyrics man! It's very… edgy? Like, horror gorefest serial killer, rape-and-torture-and-insanity-and-possession-by-evil-force edgy. The low sound quality, and the… plainness of the lyric and all give it a very raw feel. Very raw.
OMFG I forgot about it but at 1:30 they flash a ICP/Running with hatchet pendant! So kewl!

For insane riffing, complex emotional journeys and top notch mind-bending visuals, look no further than Japan's Maximum the Hormone

Bandmates: Should we play extreme metal, dubstep, traditional folk music, classical baroque, or 8-bit? Gautier Serre: Yes.
