Your argument was that the Democrats are the ones that do not tolerate dissent. It's not Democrats telling others that it's their way or the high way, and especially not to US citizens. Right. Its simply gutter political rhetoric that is as old as politics. Yet the democrats obstinately call anyone who disagrees with them as racist or white nationalist. I mean, that's where we are right now. It's that bad now. Just look at the gun control debate... Immigration... Universal healthcare... taxation... Green policies... There's barely daylight between the democratic candidates on these topics. Eh... I diagree. Most prominant democrats are near unanimous on policy grounds and discourages dissent (because the hard core leftwing of the democratic base are obnoxiously loud, and the candidates need their support). The fracturing is the retail politics: -the old Clintonian/Obamian wing, ie Biden, is one such group -the newer socialist wing, ie Sanders/Warren, is another such group. Again, his turn is solely based on Trump's agendas (the standard GOP fare)... particularly judges. That's more because of the general chaos at the White House rather than based on policy disagreements.

Who is unfairly called a racist or white nationalist? And not some no-name person calling another no-name person one of those, but you know, an actual democrat politician you're implying that does this.

If you use supporters from the general population and sound bites from pundits to paint the Democratic Party, then you should have no problem with the Repubs being called racists, right? supporters and pundits are, so. You wouldn't want your world view to be internally inconsistent, now, would you?

He's saying if you use pundits and your average person to paint the democrat party as unfairly accusing people of things, you must also paint the republican party with the actions their average person and pundit does, i.e. spew racism.
You wouldn't happen to hold a double standard, would you?

I see.
Yeah, it's not unique to democrats.
Our political debate sucks right now due to entrenched "team sporting" behaviors.

I dunno, but your standards, republicans are racists and bigots, which means the democrats calling them such isn't wrong.

"Dems are all alarmists! Some of their supporters and pundits are too quick to cry racist!" "Repubs aren't racist at all, despite some of their supporters and pundits very proudly being so!" It's called cognitive dissonance, and it is required to keep being a conservative.

There are elements that says they're on "your side" that you'd absolutely don't support.

Yeah, but they're nowhere near the White House and aren't putting people in concentration camps.

So, you saw that I was putting focus on how for you it's all very abstract and you don't care about the consequences that will harm real people, yes. What else? It's just that we've both said what we wanted to say. You haven't listened, and you have no argument. Again, it was the most restrictive nuclear surveillance ever, and it was working to prevent Iran from making a bomb, and it was improving the day to day live of the average Iranian, and easing the political tensions between the US and Iran. Again, now there is no deal to salvage, Iran is enriching Uranium, the day to day life of the average Iranian suffer immensely, and the there is no way the Iranian government can trust the US ever again, for good reasons. It's all shit, but you don't care, because you don't suffer from any of those consequences. I'll likely be voting for Trump because outside of his tweeting habits and is stupid mouth, his administration has implemented standard GOPish policies. Like pardoning convicted racists that tortured their victims, this kind of standard GOPish policies, that you should NOT support Whembly. But apparently that's fine with you. What isn't fine is listening to and believing the woman in a “He said she said” rape case, so almost every rape case, never believe the women. Priorities ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.

We can't call concentration camps concentration camps because that sounds like Nazis and nazis don't want to sound like Nazis.

Our political debate sucks right now due to entrenched "team sporting" behaviors. Which you work against by… voting for the GOP no matter what. Well…
