It'll be a fun lawsuit given that the media watchdog almost certainly has pages of evidence that it's correct. So their cast-iron defence will be proving the advertising issues and hurting Twitters reputation even further.

Tesla’s board of directors should suspend Elon Musk for endorsing antisemitic views on social media, according to one investor in the electric vehicle company.



Jerry Braakman, president of First American Trust, wants Tesla’s board to send a clear message that Musk went too far last week by agreeing with an antisemitic post on X (formerly known as Twitter) that claims Jewish communities push “hatred against Whites.”



“I believe in free speech, but there’s no excuse for spreading hatred by a CEO of a public company,” Braakman said in a statement.

The exodus from X is bleeding beyond just major advertisers.

In recent days, a number of prominent media brands have not only paused their paid marketing campaigns on the embattled Elon Musk-owned social platform, but have ceased posting on it altogether, going silent on the once essential site that sought to be the world’s “digital town square.”

The flagship accounts belonging to Disney, Paramount, Lionsgate, Sony Pictures, Universal, and Warner Bros. Discovery (CNN’s parent company) have not posted on the platform in roughly 10 days, following Musk’s disturbing endorsement of an antisemitic conspiracy theory, which he still has not apologized for.

In a 3 minute interview he manages some of the most embarrassing things:

He tells sponsors who are 'trying to hold him to ransom' to go F* themselves. Twice.

He then admits that without the sponsors, Twitter/X will fail. But he somehow thinks that 'Earth' will blame the advertisers for it and not Musk.

Surely Musky will be the first to support the idea that if no-one wants your product they should be free to not purchase it. If only there was a fan of free speech and Elon to step up and defend him and the great things he's done to what was once Twitter.

The usual suspects are already parroting the blackmail line - that Musk won't be blackmailed or bribed by advertisers.

That the blackmail here is "Stop being so politically and brand toxic or we can't advertise with you" doesn't seem to have wandered across any minds.
