Apparently Twitter now is now having an issue with ads for an app that creates realistic nudes explicitly for the purposes of blackmail.

Is it an "issue" or are they just desperate for any advertisers offering? When you turn into Truth Social/4chan light, you end up with either porn or scam advertisers.

Its' going to be a mix of being desperate for the money, not being bothered to check on ad providers/content and not having the resources to check.
When you're using any kind of automated ad system, dodgy ads is an occupational hazard so you need to put in some actual effort to keep tabs on it.
Sadly this doesn't surprise me. Musk doesn't seem to care about anything other than impressing the edgelords.

Musks continuing to try and wage war on Disney, by removing the Disney+ shortcut on Teslas. You can still access the service by going to the web address, though it's likely to cost Disney a few subscribers due to Musk fanbois or a small number of people who only use it in the car and can't figure out the workaround. www.teslarati.com/tesla-removes-disney-plus-elon-musk-bob-iger-workaround/I'm somewhat amused by the idea that Musk thinks he can win in any kind of battle with The Mouse. |

Seemingly they managed to address it pretty quickly when it happened to Taylor Swift, showing that they can solve a lot of problems if someone big enough to beat them in court has them.
