Tragic day for the US, 20 people murdered by a white supremacist in El Paso and before the thoughts and prayers train could really get rolling 9 more people got murdered in Dayton. Such senseless death... The mentally ill garbage has already started for the El Paso shooting, god forbid anyone actually takes some accountability for stoking this BS. ...are you implying that the shooters are not being held accountable?

Has any of the candidates impressed you? Weld, but we're not allowed to speak of him. Because he's not progressive enough in the primary?

If you read it carefully I said "accountability for stoking this BS", not perpetrating. You're basically having 8chan, the alt right equivalent of ISIS online freely operating and Trump openly pushing the rethoric that these people peddle in. Of course Trump won't stop, but the government needs to step in and stop this BS and take it as seriously as jihadist terrorism.

Remember, if they're spouting white nationalist rhetoric, quoting trump or any of his cronies, they're crazy, mentally unstable lone wolves. Also, dems are just as bad somehow.

Sadly, if we didn't do anything when 6 year olds got slaughtered, nothing is going to come from this.

Trump already pinned it on mental illness, because of course he did.

Trump already pinned it on mental illness, because of course he did. This was not an act of mental illness. He drove 650 miles to do this. That is premeditated, methodical murder.

Like Wolfblade said, when they're white it's mental illness regardless of the how or what. Prosecuting the guy for terrorism is basically just for show unless (and this is incredibly unlikely) the admin recognizes the white supremacist/nationalist ideology behind it. Trump certainly doesn't, so neither will the invertabrates in his party as long as he doesn't. Must not offend the base! Edit: Trump has offered one of his dead-eyed (forced by his staff) TV condemnations, pretending he of course is not part of the problem. Meanwhile his real thinking is its the fault of violent video games/mental illness and the mainstream media. At least his twitter shows us what he really thinks, now shamelessly onward to his next bigot rally!

What a load of bollocks.
Reality does not agree with these people's views on the world. There's no way the media can be unbiased in their eyes unless it is telling them what they already believe.
Their views are formed and reinforced by cunts like Ben Shapiro, Paul Joseph Watson, Richard Spencer, Steven Crowder, Stefan Molyneux, Lauren Southern and Trump.
Their views are tolerated and boosted by the Republican party who prime their base to accept such views through their lies about where their problems are from and what the solution is.

Then who do you blame for that Dayton, OH shooting? (I refuse to name him). If we're trying to ascribe blame...

I don’t follow Twitter at all, but has Trump condemned any of the right-wing groups via tweets yet? I don’t think he’s called them out previously, and I don’t think it matters what he says behind the podium and tells the news, Twitter is where the rot happens and if he’s silent there people will always feel encouraged IMO.

What "right-wing" groups exactly you think he should condemn? Or has a presence on Twitter? (since you're not on Twitter, are you seeing reports of it elsewhere?) He has condemned white nationalism, racism and bigotry... but, it's not going to be enough because how politically toxic the environment is now. Furthermore, can we talk about the ridiculousness what we've witnessed after these mass shootings? (or massed violence) ? Both sides of the political aisle await with bated breath, hoping that one of their "own" isn’t responsible for the devastation. It’s a really sick mindset... that is putting politics before humanity. In the aftermath of Dayton and El Paso, we are seeing it happen yet again. We have those on the Left are relieved, and yet outraged at the Right that a white nationalist was responsible for the deaths in El Paso. Then those on the Right are relieved, and yet outraged at the Left that the Dayton shooter was a self-proclaimed socialist who favored Elizabeth Warren. Same with that MAGA bomber... the Discovery Channel shooter... the ICE antifa bomber... the ChristChurch shooting... the BernieBro shooter. Happens. Every. Time. Sickening. Then on top of these reactions, there is an even grosser reaction by the politicians and media: how to most effectively capitalize on the tragedies. Obama's campaign manager coined the phrase... You never let a serious crisis go to waste. How did we get here?

Nothing much, he has condemned violence and hate crime on twitter, but he has never directly named the real culprit, i.e. white nationalism/supremacy. He has no problem doing it when he thinks it involves Muslims, but when they're white he always seems to go for the mental illness angle on twitter.

So we're really going for that both sides rhetoric in the face of all the data? Pretty bold move. Left wing extremism is completely drowned out by right wing extremism. The ADL reported that in 2018 all extremist murders had right wing ties for example. www.adl.org/murder-and-extremism-2018amp.theatlantic.com/amp/article/581284/We got here by ignoring the elephant in the room in favor of avoiding upsetting the base and shouting about both sides being equally bad... Trump keeps screaming about Jihadist terrorism and got his whole Muslim ban based around it. Meanwhile he cut back the small program on white supremacist violence that was set up under Obama by 7/8ths. By staying silent one side is clearly complicit. Instead of offering garbage thoughts and prayers, how about calling it out and treating it like jihadist terrorism? I think we all know why it doesn't happen.
