Here is my prediction; The people who claimed, that the Left refused to accept the result of the election in '16......will refuse to accept the result of the election in '20. It does seem harder and harder to honestly believe Trump can win reelection. He won by a few thousand votes in 2016 and having them in exactly the right places in the EC. Given the slip in numbers, it seems like he shouldn't be able to pull it off twice. But of course the narrative embraced by the sycophants has always been an incoherent claim that Trump won 2016 in an upset, with no real mention of how close that win was. Biden is outperforming Hillary Clinton in most metrics right now and has cut into the demographics Trump needs in polls.
The hiccup I think is that we're looking at a big surge in vote from people who don't normal vote. While the conventional wisdom is that higher turnout favors Democrats, I think this election is so distinct from others that it's hard to really take that as a given. Depending on how various legal bullshits play out and what exactly happens on election day, Trump could still pull another bizarro longshot win out of his ass. It seems like that might just be enduring trauma or something from 2016 though.
There's only so much the EC can do to give an unpopular candidate a win. Biden isn't running with Trump in the margin of error this year. He's just plain ahead by a rather solid margin. I think it'll really come down to PA and Florida (as much as people are excited about Texas and Georgia, I think they're still going to be red this year).

I was reading that Iowa’s been slipping back towards Trump after being neck and neck a couple months ago.

In regards to Texas, I actually think we might partially flip. We'll go Biden for president, but we'll still be R down the rest of the ballot. I just don't see anywhere near as many Trump signs/bumper stickers as I did in 2016. Probably just wishful thinking on my part.

I was reading that Iowa’s been slipping back towards Trump after being neck and neck a couple months ago. They're back to neck and neck again. The rumor is based on a misleading poll about the Senate race there.

I think it's all up in the air for up to a month or so after the election depending on the court cases. The GOP has been pushing very hard to rig the election, suppress voters, passing laws to ensure they get to pick the electors if they feel the electors picked by both parties aren't "suitable" or whatever, and fight to get any votes arriving after election day thrown out. Polls rarely take into account the cheating the GOP can do, especially when SCOTUS is 6 - 3 in trumps favor. All they have to do is contest a few states and let SCOTUS rule on them.
That said, I'd love to be wrong and see a big blow out where they lose tons of house and senate seats too. I don't think Biden will be anything more than an average president, especially considering he's viewed as the "return to status quo" president when the status quo is what got us into this mess.

It's already come to light that Trump's plan is to declare victory early and then push for the courts to put him in power. He's even said the quiet part outloud in a quote about how when he wins or later thanks to the supreme court about some bullshit he's going to do.
I have zero hope for this country. Too many fucking miserable retards who should have been drowned at birth running around.

Every time I see someone say something like that, it makes me think of all the trumptards whining about how the left is trying to violently take over the country. The denial is real.

I believe the famous quote goes: "The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of those waiting to vote in an area that usually favors the other guy".

I don't think there ever were any mods when we came here. Or if there are, they're just like dakka's mods, and there's nothing good to say about dakka's mods.
