Walrus is saying that if Wolfblade's comment about being happy that Limbaugh is dead made you strengthen your belief to never vote left, then the boatload of well documented Limbaugh commentary should have had you resolve never to vote right again. Ah... I see. Here's the difference though. Rush never held public office. He's a commentator. Wolfblade's attitude is emblematic to the left's mentality against their ideologic opponents. As such, I oppose any politician who gleefully gloat over the deaths of their opponents. The sadness and grief of Rush’s loved ones today is indistinguishable from the sadness and grief of Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s loved ones in September or John Lewis’s loved ones or Herman Cain’s loved ones in July. No matter how much we may think that we are different from those we vehemently oppose, they are as human and mortal as we are, and we are all going to end up in the same grave... ashes to ashes, dust to dust. I'm always tickled by the blatant hypocrisy of the US. On Myanmar;
"US state department spokesperson Ned Price said the United States was “deeply concerned” by reports that security forces had fired on protesters and continued to detain and harass demonstrators and others."
Like they didn't spend all of last summer beating and detaining and harassing protestors and firing directly at them with rubber bullets. It rings almost as hollow as when China whinges about human rights.

There's definitely something cosmically ironic in the US arguing about whether or not a mob attacking the capital was an attempted coup, while there was a coup happening somewhere else. It's even more cosmically ironic when the US spends a whole summer mired in police brutality and violence because of police brutality, but the US wants to lecture other countries about how to be a functional democracy. I mean, I wouldn't call it hypocrisy. The Biden administration isn't made up of people who were happy with last summer. It is however deeply ironic and hard to take the US seriously as the leader of the free world when the US has been sliding closer and closer to autocracy and its democracy is under constant threat by a whole third of the country.
