Let them make it, giving Biden carte Blanche to have the fascist bumped off, and all his little flying monkeys too.

The chance that Biden would make use of this is tiny.

Loving that. Would love to see him incarcerated, as the odds of him shutting his stupid orange cats-anus-resembling trap are basically zero...

How long would the incarceration last? It’d be great for some pics in a prison uniform after a few days without hair and fake tan treatment.

That's a lot of money his supporters will pony up in a heartbeat through donations either directly to him or to the RNC, and not a lot of money he'll therefore miss. Almost like tiny fines for rich people mean nothing in terms of curbing shit behaviour

A friend of mine always says that fines are a way of making things legal for the rich...
Almost as if they should make fines based on income like come countries do...

Reminds me of when I saw some tosspot's Burarri Whateverthefuck parked where it completely blocked a narrow street lined with double yellows and also managed to block the pavement of the adjoining street it was poking out into. Who wants to walk to the restaurant when you're rich? A £75 fine is probably what they just spent on coffee.

Hell, £75 is cheap for a nights parking in London. If you're rich enough then you can drive to where you want to go, get the car towed and collect it later, and it'd still potentially cost less than if you paid for parking. A friend of mine always says that fines are a way of making things legal for the rich... Almost as if they should make fines based on income like come countries do... Yeah, any fixed financial penalty for something means it's only a problem for the poor. If it's based on income like the Finnish (?) speeding fine system then it's at least a penalty.
But $9k for someone claiming to be a billionaire is nothing. We already saw from the Jean Carroll defamation thing that even $9m wasn't enough to get him to behave. He either really needs a huge fine or a custodial sentence.

They could hold him in custody (remand in the UK at least) for the duration of the trial, with any time served taken off his eventual sentence. I'm not sure if they could do a house arrest or something preventing him using the internet for the duration, though I'm sure his lawyers have been begging him to leave the phone alone.

But that would involve his lawyers being competent?

Apparently he's upset with his lawyers for not being aggressive and continuing to challenge the judge and attack the jury/witnesses...

But that would involve his lawyers being competent? I think I keep forgetting how incompetent they are, because no-one smart is going to take on this case knowing that they'll lose, not get paid, and lose any remaining credibility.

Meh, that’s mostly the sunbeams and odd lighting. The photo of him in the courtroom looks far more normal for him.
