Depends on where you are. In red areas, 'children' tend to be viewed almost as property.

Can a mother raise a case of kidnapping when (a) the teen seems to have been there willingly and (b) the mother didn't check on her whereabouts for months?
I guess anything is allowed to try and punish healthcare though.

Yeah, I don't know how much their obvious blatant lying about the issues and what they were trying to do also figured into the results...

Man I would not consider a 10% difference a big win on the prevention of incredibly restrictive future laws. I get that this is good by US standards, but that bar is so tragically low.

A 56 vs 43 percent win is a big win. Remember that 60/40 is a 50% advantage for the 60%.

Plus, this was a state that solidly voted for Trump is has a Republican controlled government.
This resolution theoretically puts abortion protection into the state's Constitution, which is much harder to change than a regular law passed by the Legislature.

Speaking from a country where 75% would vote in favor with only 10% being against it, big win is relative for me.

Plus, this was a state that solidly voted for Trump is has a Republican controlled government. Not to be too negative, but turnout was significantly lower if I'm not mistaken? How would it have ended up if this vote was held alongside a regular election where team R wins with reverse percentages?

Turn out was not lower, and that is why Rs are running scared on this issue and trying to downplay it. This was the second "Off-Year" attempt to try and squash Abortions in the state, and they both failed miserably.
If the Rs back away from their 15 week national ban rhetoric, they risk de-motivating their most fervent base supporters, Evangelicals. If they do not show up, the Rs are finished as a party. On the other hand, this issue is mobilizing new voters for the Dems in ways that is still beating the R's coalition of conservatives on the issue. It has empowered the D base and driven in more voters.
Rs would prefer to keep any abortion talk to their own private groups and fund raisers, and ignore it on the public stage. However, their own supporters won't let them.

The expression "hoist upon their own petard" comes to mind.

Wait, so votes cast on the abortion issue number almost 4 million, but the general election in 2020 got close to 6 million cast. What is the metric for high in this case?
