Paula Raid is saying on Twitter that CNN called Gaetz 45 minutes before the story broke to let him know that they were going to run a story they'd picked up on how the House Ethics Committee had learned that there was a second sexual encounter between Gaetz and a 17-year-old in 2017 (unclear if it's the same 17-year-old as the other allegations or someone else). I'd link it but, y'know... Twitter.

Now we just need Hegseth and McMahon to withdraw due to their history of sexual misconduct.
I should not be surprised so many of Trump's Cabinet picks have a history of Sexual misconduct. As the leader so goes the pack.

It's funny watching people cheer on the Republican senators for not appointing Gaetz.
If it had been when they were all sword in and Trump was sworn in, I reckon they buckle like normal. They were saved from doing it by him withdrawing, not their own courage. And the media and what not acting like the GOP gave turned a corner with regards to defending Trump and giving him a pass on everything based on this are just showing they've learnt nothing the last 8 years
