Maybe just the Boomers being used to older persons giving them Everything they’ve failed to realise that it’s their turn to do it for the younger generations. Because they’re spoiled, greedy cunts as a generation? Honestly, this is probably closer to the mark than not. Biden running again is a major mistake in my opinion, for a lot of reasons, but his age and mental acuity are not last on the list of reasons.

Contrary to the right-wing talking points (or lies), his mental acuity actually seems to be pretty good.

Other than a few confused moments that anyone is capable of, Biden seems pretty sharp and active. He's not as loud as Trump though. All of his speeches have seem pretty well considered and he can think on his feet. People assume Trump does the same but that's just because he's always incoherent. But he's already 80, and old age is going to catch up with him eventually. Do you really want an 85 year old President?
There must be some young (50's) blood in the parties to run?

Trump just opens his fat gob and lets Any Old Shite come pouring out. Literally Gish Galloping by spewing so many falsehoods, it becomes impossibly to refute them all in good time.

My 80 year old Grandma's mental acuity is pretty good too, that doesn't mean she is capable of being President.... I'm just saying dude is old as fuck, and I'm pretty sure most people thought he would be one and done. Trump winning is the worst possible outcome, hence I hoped for someone younger and more with it is all.

So, in a Trump vs Biden (the most likely outcome as of now) election...... what do you do?
Older voters apparently want older candidates to hold onto power.

He’s been doing a damn good job all things considered. Don’t always agree with everything, and he’s had his share of gaffes. Nature of the system though is if he wants the nomination, it’s his as the current president, and I’ll definitely vote for him over whoever the R’s put up.

You fill in the dot next to Biden and hope for the best, not much else to do. The whole affair is already tiresome. Even the historical absurdity of a candidate with trumps legal jeopardy likely winning a nomination feels old and stale. Old and stale pretty much sums up my feelings on this whole upcoming cycle of insanity.

People are saying that Ramasawamy (The Trump surrogate) and Haley did the best at the debate last night.
I did not watch it. Anyone else have any thoughts?

Just read about it. She managed to look like the only remotely sane one by agreeing climate change is real.
He is just more charismatic, but just as insane as the rest of them.
Bizarre to even hold this debate, when the candidate polling at 60% doesn't show up. Which one would Trump even like enough to have as VP, which one is spineless enough after Pence?

Ramaswamy for VP. His big thing is being a Trump defender.

His reputation as the Trumpian candidate might offend Trump somehow though. Trump might be too vain to pick him.

So how’s the polling actually going over there?

Trump is CRUSHING all competitors for the R Primaries. I’m not sure they even match him Combined? Hypothetical polling of him vs Biden has them pretty close, but I believe tends to favor Biden. Of course national polling is irrelevant because Rs don’t win the popular vote anyways and it will come down to the Electoral System on a state by state basis and I don’t think I’ve seen any polling on that.

I am most curious on the Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Georgia numbers. If two or three of those do not flip, I don't think Trump has much of a chance.
