Interesting latest tactic from Trump campaign, simulating a handjob and blowjob on a microphone stand. I missed this. On purpose? Or just more of his “dancing”?

“I don’t have money to pay…”
That is the traditional lead into those actions.

I think he was threatening not to pay the contractors as punishment for the mike failing. The irony of course being that he was never going to pay them anyway, but for some reason people don't realize that and ask for money up front.

I'm actually sort of almost starting to feel sorry for Trump. Here me out. He's of an age where learning disabilities were still pretty taboo and his parents masked it by throwing huge money at him, to buy him a degree and get him a business etc. Unfortunately he's thought it's because he's a genius and now we're stuck with an incompetent, incontinent senile old man with a the intellectual capacity of a toddler roleplaying being President. The best thing for him would be get him to quietly retire off somewhere he can get proper care and support. Maybe he just needs someone to give him the Musk treatment and hire a team to pretend that he's won but has to lead for Mar-a-Lago because of plots by the communists.
Sadly, I think until he breaks down on stage in incontrovertible weakness, at which point his supporters will abandon him, he's going to keep going.
That said, I don't fully feel sorry for him, because he has some awareness and it's still an absolutely horrible human being. I just can't decide if he's competent enough for that to be his failing or that of whoever was supposed to be responsible for him.

I don't feel sorry for Trump because he has always been a horrible human being, his current behaviour isn't a personality shift due to senile cognitive impairment.
For example, he paid a lot of money to run ads in New York newspapers calling for the execution of the Central Park 5. They were later exonerated of the crime and received a settlement for wrongful imprisonment. Trump has refused to apologise for his position of executing them, probably because he has been a horrible racist throughout his life.
Sure, he should probably be quietly retired from public life by those around him if he no longer has capacity to make many of the decisions he is making, but I doubt he is at that point yet. But that doesn't mean I feel sorry for the fascist. He is still currently the abuser.

Keep in mind he’s just the figurehead for Maga. A useful idiot of a puppet for Far Right Christian Nationalists determined to impose a theocracy.
What better literal tool than a loud mouthed, incompetent braggart who’ll say anything for a few bucks. Keep the focus and ire on him, not on what you’re up to.

The shit I'm most worried about is his assertion that he can sort out Ukraine in a single day. That to me sounds like he's just going to capitulate to Putin, which I suspect will mean Putin just does this again with, I dunno, Poland or somewhere. Which will lead to full-scale war in Europe against Russia, probably without the support of the US. Trump will have some sort of chat with Putin along the lines of "WTF Vlad dude I thought we were bros" and Putin replying "You fucking moron I played you like a fucking piano". The US probably still won't get involved as Putin will threaten to release fucking whatever he has over Trump in the first place, because there's clearly something, right? And Donnie would rather see the rest of the world burn than be personally embarrassed. And at that point I'm shitting myself that it goes nuclear - because at the moment we're pretty much holding Putin off with our older hardware we're donating to Ukraine because it's end-of-life. If the gloves come off and we get out all our new toys, and get our modern aircraft etc involved, then Vlad is going to escalate rather than back down and that's us fucked. Well me certainly, living down the road from Portsmouth...

The shit I'm most worried about is his assertion that he can sort out Ukraine in a single day. But he says he'll sort anything out in a single day, as long as you vote for him. Because he's the best. Never mentions any details because there aren't any. I wouldn't read into it anymore than that.
But he is an idiot who is easily manipulated, so if Putin doesn't laugh at him outright any deal he makes will ultimately be humilating (but praised by his supporters). Trump has no influence over Putin or Zelensky.

We were told “Brexit could be arranged over a cup of tea”.
And that “we held all the cards”
Credulous Morons go for mindless, lying soundbites, because they sound nicer than “look, it’s a very complex problem which is going to take time, effort and not a little luck to sort out”.

Oh he's absolutely a horrible human being, I'm not disputing that at all. And he absolutely shouldn't even be an option for any kind of leadership role.
I just think that his cognitive impairment has always been there, though is getting worse. It's just been masked and compensated for by his parents wealth, rather than just being a case of affluenza.

Oh definitely. He's a fucking moron with a toddler-level sense of entitlement and self-belief, who had a crash course in how to be a complete cunt in business and thinks he's the fucking daddy. He would be considerably richer right now if he'd not gone into business at all and just invested all the money he got from his parents into a managed fund. He could have had an easy life as a playboy, golfer, and probably still serial-sex-offender; until the latter caught up with him. But no, his ego, entitlement and probably his daddy-approval issues wouldn't let him. So here we are.

Same as BogJob.
Just imagine what a more stable world we might live in had Trump and BogJob been told no as children.

Maybe now he’s just the figurehead, but if it weren’t for him there would be no MAGA. He brought a tiny fringe of insanity into the mainstream and forced the media, especially the right wing media, to normalize it and treat it as valid. If he’s never stepped into the race, the closest you’d get are people like Ted Cruz and Paul Ryan pushing against the Jeb Bushes of the party.
