Just because I'm tired of other politics and news jumping in during a discussion.

As long as there's strong due process... I'd be willing to listen to what it entails.

Hilariously, they mention police gunning down innocent people as the reason they don't want to enforce the law in question. Also Colorado's law violating no fewer than five different Constitutional Amendments. Interestingly, turn in for bump stocks have been the lowest of any government turn in in history. Some states had zero turn ins, others only had two or three.
Considering there's an estimated quarter million to half million in circulation....

Yeah, because cop killers always come out free and fine, as long as they acted in self-defense, it's a well-known fact . Trying to fix a broken police force by giving guns to citizen is like trying to put out a fire by drowning it in gasoline. You are just giving cops an extra “Get out of murder charges for free” card…

Weird fact: that's actually how you put out fires in cotton bales. Gasoline or kerosene

In actual news, New Zealand's planed buyback is, of course, spiraling in cost wildly, increasing by almost a third since it was announced, last week.
In further news, out of an estimated quarter million guns to be seized, 200 have been handed in.

Horrible law. The burden of proof need to be on the petitioner, not the gun owner. Also, horrible strategy by democrats as this'll rile up the 2nd amendment GOP voters in Colorado.

The burden of proof need to be on the petitioner, not the gun owner. Yeah, like for voting! You know, how when if you want to vote, people have to prove that you are not allowed to vote and not the other way around. Oh wait, it doesn't work like this. Maybe it's because voting is a less important right than owning a gun???
