Guys, we need Whembly here because he is the perfect personification of what is happening in US and Global politics right now! He can't get a women so he takes it out on all of them in the voting booth by being a Fascist. I wish I was joking. However, I live in deep Red Trump country. When I manage to talk to a male Trumper long enough, it always comes down to unresolved trauma and that trauma is often related to a divorce or bad break-ups. Sometimes, it is a job loss, death, health issue, moving away, etc. but 9 out of 10 times it is a divorce/bad break-up. Wyoming is the "Trumpiest" state and also has the highest instance of divorce. It is not a coincidence that the state is so Trump focused. Bruh... showed this to my wife and had a good chuckle.

Harris is probably done, perhaps Josh Shapiro. Newsom is from California, so a 'coastal elite'. Who knows, 4 years is a long time for a new person to appear. Josh Shapiro would be a strong Democrat candidate for 2028.

I'll stop. But, very few here deserves grace. Thank you. "Deserves" got nothing to do with it. Disagree. Especially since peregrine is still allowed to advocate for assassinations.

If anything, I think this actually highlights how huge the cultural void between USA and Europe is, that's normally masked by a shared language and media. I've been holding them to a European standard but I think that's probably a failing on my part. Language aside, I can't actually think of a comparable culture. Absolutely this. 'Murrica.

It is a pretty sharp warning about letting your population become so very bad at critical thinking by demolishing your education system, as well as the effect of letting the rights and interests of businesses run rampant over the rights and best interests of individuals. Only America in recent times has failed so thoroughly in both regards, and that's not even touching on their many moral failures as a country with regards to their treatment of women, lgbt folk, poc, etc. It's useful to have a country fail so utterly for everyone else in the world to see and say "no thanks".

What happened to you Whembly?
I remember when you saw in a thread that I was a transplant recipient and reached out to me in a private message to just ask me how I was doing. You even ended that message with a joke about Trump thinking he had a big dick because of his small hands.
I'm curious as to when you decided that compassion and selflessness for others, which is what being an organ donor is, literally giving up a part of your self to help someone else, was no longer something to aspire to over petty sniping and belittlement.

What happened to me? People like you. You never willingly gave grace and often join into wolfblade's dogpile. Are you really going to sit there and presume I'm a different person when I willingly gave my kidney to someone I cared about. And that somehow, my positions today is anathema to that? If so, then please go fuck yourself. Furthermore, Biden/Harris' border policies radicalized me. My son's best friend died from accidental fentanyl overdose via excessive fentanyl-laced weed. The authorities found the dealer who got his supplies from the Mexican cartel. That could've been my son. Another of his friend OD on fentanyl pills. Going to those families and helping in any way I could radicalized me into a single-issue voter... and that is to vote against Democrats where ever I could. Even if that meant for the Orange Cheeto getting a 2nd term. I'm not sorry for engaging in schadenboner here because most of you simply don't understand *why* this happened, and aren't generally interested in understanding the "other side". Happy to explain if we'd stop being dicks to each other. Even though I didn't vote for Trump during the primaries...but I would've crawled over broken glass to vote for him in the general because Democrat policies are what is wrong with this country.

So Whembly, were you raging against republicans who torpedoed the bi-partisan border security bill?
And how can you justify the hurt and pain the republican governance inflicts on women and minorities? Like the women dying from lack of access to abortions in Texas, right now. Are they not worth your compassion, or being a single issue voter over?
Do you really believe that republicans will do anything to help people who are drug users? After all, we saw their approach to the aids epidemic when it was ripping through people who took drugs. They fucking laughed about it, as people died.

I think talking about the border is already going a step too far. Europe is awash in drugs too, and it certainly isn't walking across the border. As tragic as this all is, we're not going to win the war on drugs any time soon, if ever.

So Whembly, were you raging against republicans who torpedoed the bi-partisan border security bill? That "bi-partisan" border bill was absolute junk and it never even passed in the Senate that had bipartisan rejection. (most of the $$$ was going to go to Ukraine). However, HR 2 in the House did pass and Democrats refused to floor it for vote. I'm still raging against Democrats for that.

Remind me, which party was it that insisted on tying the money to Ukraine to the border bill in the first place?

Hey, look at the bright side: The media/ never-Trumpers can go back to pretending that they care about minors in border detention facilities. You know, that super important issue they all dropped sometime around November 2020.

I'm pretty sure that's because Biden stopped separating families as a matter of policy, one of the rescinded border policies that the Republican party has been dinging him for, no?
